Growing up, summertime meant running around outside through the fields and woods and down by the creek. Warm sunrises and sunset skies on fire. As a photographer, I’m so thankful that I still get to do this with my clients and camera. I’m always happy to explore a new or special spot but below are some of my personal favorites that I know you’ll just love!

Under the Mossy Oaks. Waving fields of soft green with tall moss-covered oaks that are hauntingly beautiful and the most charming farm fence along the edge. Suitable for any length of session, sunrise or sunset, and conveniently located in The Woodlands, TX. This location requires a reservation and is best secured months in advance.
By the Creek. White soft and sandy banks and shallow water gently meander through a beautiful forest of green. This location is reserved for Memory, Heritage, or Storyteller collections only and conveniently located in The Woodlands, TX.
In the Woods. Worn bridges lead us into the Forest, where the sun glitters through the evergreens and meets a beautiful pond. This location is suitable for any collection, sunrise or sunset, and is conveniently located in The Woodlands, TX.
In the Garden. Manicured greens that feel European with stately brick paths flanked by flowers. Suitable only for sunrise sessions and only for Memory, Heritage, or Storyteller collections, this location is located just south of The Woodlands, TX.
Among the Wildflowers. Waving fields of purple, green, and white, as the bluebonnets bloom in the Spring. **Seasonal dates depend on the blooms; these sessions take place in Brenham, TX, approximately an hour drive from The Woodlands, TX.
In the Wild Meadow. A quaint meadow filled with waving grass surrounded by wild trees where the sun breaks through at sunset. This location is suitable for any collection, sunrise or sunset, and is conveniently located in Magnolia, TX.
On the Beach. Salt air and waves gently breaking with the pier in the distance. Suitable for sunrise or sunset sessions and only for Memory, Heritage, or Storyteller collections, this location is located in Galveston, TX and requires a $100 travel fee.
At the Golden Field. Waving fields of gold lined by trees in the distance; this location sparkles at golden hour. This location is suitable for any collection, sunrise or sunset, and is conveniently located in the heart of The Woodlands, TX.
By the Marsh. A gorgeous marsh edged by golden fields and wild pines. This location is suitable for sunrise or sunset sessions of any length and is conveniently located in The Woodlands, TX.
On the Farm. A charming flower-farm destination nestled on a lovely country road approximately one hour northwest of The Woodlands. Larkspur in April and Sunflowers in the Summer. Suitable for Memory, Heritage, or Storyteller collections at sunset, this location incurs a $70 rental fee and $75 travel fee.
At the Oak Atelier. An intimate indoor studio with multiple spaces that is suitable at any time of day. This location is suitable for any collection and is conveniently located just north of the The Woodlands, TX. This location incurs a $75-200 per hour rental fee depending on the space and day reserved. Click here to view the available spaces.
At the Camp. Wooden a-frame cottages on the edge of the woods surrounding a beautiful marshy pond. Available for daytime or sunset sessions for Memory, Heritage, or Storyteller collections. This location incurs a nonrefundable $50 rental fee and $50 travel fee.
